13. Process of Registration or Grant of Patent & Required time:

13(3). Examination period of Patent- 18 months approximately from filing date.
13(4) Application for Acceptance of Patent- 6 months approximately after examination.
13(5). Gazette Notification of Patent after acceptance- 6 months near.
13(6). Application for Sealing fee/Registration fee of Patent on the Form-8 after expiry of opposition period.
13(7). Application for amendment/ correction after acceptance or before acceptance of Patent- 6 months near.
13(8). Registration certificate / Granting Certificate of Patent or Letters of Patent- 6 months near after sealing fee.
13(9) Registration / Granting Certificate of Patent or Letters of Patent is active for 5 years from filing date & you will renew every year, that is 15 times in 15 years and total period of Registration of patent is active for 20 years from filing date.

At present you will submit counter reply of opposition case of design on plain paper (2 copies) within 21 days from the receiving date of documents of opposition case of design without fee, but when new fee list & FORM will be formed then you will submit fee on the new FORM or when the Department of Patents Designs & Trade Marks will give you hearing then you will attend in hearing with your documents to break their logic.
